Oh man! Today is getting the best of me! It's one of those days where I swear the clock is moving 10x faster then it should and my list of to-do's seems to be stubbornly opposing any pen marks! I'm getting ready to leave for a long weekend which is causing far more stress then excitement because there is just soooo dang much to still do!

Twitter gets you free stuff!

I wanted to let you know that if you're not following Go{4}Pro on Twitter you should! Twitter has been something I've really struggled with. Honestly I just didn't get it, and I still don't! However, despite that I knew I wanted to utilize it, I just wasn't sure how. I've decided Twitter is where I will tell you about all the things that may not be appropriate as a full post. For example I heard an awesome FREE webinar Thursday night hosted by Photography School House and Sandy Puc from her Bellies to Baby series, there will be a part 2 the end of April so thats something I would tweet about. 


So twitter will be dedicated to free stuff, cool finds and a bit of randomness! Hope to see you there!

i NEED to win! Amy Wenzel Workshop

There is a giveaway going on at I heart faces, and seriously I just HAVE to win. Has there ever been anything like that for you? Something you wanted to win so badly because you truly believed it could change you? The last thing I can remember was in 7th grade. We were having a magazine drive at school, if you sold so many magazines you got a ticket that could be worth up to $50. I wanted to win it so badly because they would announce your name over a microphone at lunch. It wasn't the money, I just wanted to be noticed. I didn't want to have to eat my lunch in the bathroom anymore because that was the better alternative to sitting completely alone. I said a prayer and told God that I would tithe the entire $50 if he would just let me win. I won. I was only noticed for that one day but as promised that Sunday I tithed it all.


Amy wants to know how I inspire others. This (Go{4}Pro) is it. This all started because of a single image. I saw real life in it and I fell in love. I knew I wanted to capture life just like that image had. Looking back I think I felt such a connection because that image was/is a perfect example of how I try to live my life... genuine. I had no idea how or where to start except that I should probably by a camera. I often felt very alone. I would scour the internet for anything I could find that might help me but that often felt very unfruitful. When I did find something I was quite literally overjoyed (often getting up to dance and shriek with excitement - oh yes, I'm that cool). I knew I wasn't the only one chasing this dream, I hated feeling alone and so I started documenting my journey as I tried to go for pro. I remember laughing at myself for day dreaming that I could be the one to inspire someone else some day the way the greats inspire me.


Amy is THE GREAT for me! Her work, her style and her designs have always left me inspired (she is actually this Friday's inspire me - I've been waiting for this one a long time) but when David her incredible husband was diagnosed with cancer last year their faith only inspired me more. From my computer screen I cried for them, prayed for them and hoped for them as I followed their journey from both of their blogs.


Amy Wenzel is my very most favorite child photographer! If I could pick any workshop in the world it would be hers so you can understand why I want this so badly! Add to that the 'thats not all' and this is my dream on steroids! I'm determined to exceed all expectations for how far I can take my dream and with that vision would come the privilege of inspiring even more people. I know that by attending this workshop I would truly further my career light speeds faster then I could on my own, and you all know how I love an opportunity!

What was I supposed to tell you?

WOW! All I can say is THANK YOU! I can not believe how many people stopped by today! Thank you to all of you who helped spread the word... You really rocked it! It's amazing to know that this little blog is helping and inspiring so many fellow photogs. When I was just starting it seemed like every new little piece of info was a rare gem - they felt so hard to come by. I created this as a resource and it feels so good to know that so many enjoy Go{4}Pro. It's a great night. My to-do list is clear which feels heavenly! I picked up the last finishing touches to complete our wardrobe - we are having family pictures tomorrow. I'll share all about it when I get the sneak peak. I'm SOOO excited, the photographer were working with tomorrow is amazing and I really admire her work so I can't wait to experience it in live action!

It's not to far after midnight, just had a great date with my hubby and now I am so ready to crawl into bed and stay there for a very very long time!! ... I need to make a strong attempt at looking refreshed tomorrow... But after days of little or no sleep this is gonna be a chore!! Good thing I stopped at MAC to get a new blush and bronzer to liven up my complexion!

The Photographers Everything Ultimate Marketing Kit!

I'm so excited, it's here!! It's finally time to unveil what I've been working so hard on! Noelle only just saw it for the first time late yesterday afternoon as I was still finishing last minute templates that I thought would be helpful! I designed this kit with the idea of having one marketing kit that had absolutely EVERYTHING you may want or eventually want as your buiseness grows! I tried to think of not just the common stuff but fun stuff and useful stuff as well. I included cool stuff to use those Free everything Vistaprint emails on (if you don't get those emails just google it) like a pen, note pad for when you want to add a quick thought with your contracts, business card magnets for your clients to keep on the fridge and a car magnet to promote on the {Go}. There is a mini moo card that works great as a business card and even better as a tag off of your print boxes! And five through ten are straight templates with out text so that you can say exactly what you need to! 

This Go{4}Pro ultimate everything marketing kit has 26 different fully layered psd files. (actually more since with the WHCC cd case I created it as a double and a single and the portrait box is vertical and horizontal.) 


The kit is meant to be customied and I highly encourage you do so! Not your color palet? I planned for that, everything has clipping masks and is currently clipped in so that you can remove, alter and adjust to fit your buisness needs! 


I recomend finding a paper from Sassy-designs.net that fits your style, logo and branding vision and then implement it throughout! We love Sassy Designs and know you will find exactly what you want, and you're gonna do that usually for under $4!                                     


Everything comes as a fully layered PDS file...     In fact in only a couple minutes I created these other 3 label cards (using digital papers from sassy-designs) by just clipping a new paper in and changing some colors and fonts. The possibilities really are endless! Because of this these templates are not area code restricted! However I would encourage you to research out your market! You don't want to be the third photographer in your town sporting kelly green and black!
